VACHERON & CONSTANTIN STEEL CHRONOGRAPH Vacheron & Constantin, Geneve, No. 420635, case No. 262234. Made in the 1930's. Very fine and rare, stainless steel "Staybrite? wristwatch with square button chronograph and register.
C. Three-body, polished and brushed, concave lugs, snap-on case back. D. Champagne with painted Arabic numerals and baton indexes, subsidiary guilloche seconds and 30-minutes register dials. Blued steel epee hands. M. Cal. 13"', frosted gilt, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 33 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
