18-carat gold coin watch set in a gold $20.- coin dated 1889. The coins opens by means of a push piece hidden on the reeded band, reveling the gold dial with black indexes. 'Baton' blued steel hands. Rhodium plated 8.5"' keyless movement, 'fausses côtes' decoration, bearing the Geneva quality mark, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement with monometallic balance and self compensated balance spring, adjusted, to heat, cold isochronism and five positions. In very good condition. Diam. 34 mm.
