Fine silver-cased keyless deck-chronometer made for the British Royal Navy, in the original mahogany fitted case. Three body massive "demi-bassine" polished case. the Navy registration number engraved on the back. Silver cuvette. Mat silver dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. Very fine gilt brass 21"' movement, "fausses cotes" decoration, 20 jewels, straight line lever escapement, brass-invar Guillaume balance, Breguet balance spring with a swan neck micrometric index. Signed on the dial and the movement. In very good condition. Diam. 58 mm.
