Vacheron & Constantin, Genève, No. 487519, case No. 315358. Made in the 1940s. Very fine and rare, oversized 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch with an associated woven yellow gold bracelet.
C. Three-body, solid, polished, flat bezel, overhanging and fluted boomerangshaped lugs. D. Silver with applied yellow gold baton and dot indexes and Arabic numerals, subsidiary "guilloché" sunk seconds. Yellow gold "bâton" hands. M. Cal. P453/3B, rhodium-plated, ?fausses- cotes? decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures, shockabsorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 35 mm. Thickness 9 mm.
