Two-body, "Directoire," hinged, the back with a finely painted on enamel scene depicting a couple by a fountain set with rose-cut diamonds, royal blue translucent enamel background over engine-turning, bezel decorated with white and blue enamel triangles and paillons Off-white enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, outermost Arabic 5-minute markers. Gold cathedral hands. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental clock, polished steel end-piece.
