ULYSSE NARDIN POCKET WATCH YELLOW GOLD Ulysse Nardin, Locle, No. 119706, case No. 392864. Made circa 1944, sold on July 4th, 1944 in Buenos Aires. Very fine and elegant, keyless 18K yellow gold hunting-cased pocket watch. Accompanied by the original fitted box and certificate.
C. Four-body, polished and engine-turned, the front cover engraved with a monogram and the interior with a dedication. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Two-tone silver with radial Arabic numerals and baton indexes, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel cathedral hands. M. 36 mm, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold temperature adjustment screws, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 47 mm.
