Four body, solid, "bassine et filets", engine-turned, reeded cover edges, cover with black enameled radial Roman numerals around the aperture border, case back centered with the small monogram "E.C," hinged gold cuvette engraved: Grand Prix, Paris 1889. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel double spade hands. M. Cal. 19''', gilt brass, three-quarter plate, 15 jewels, spring detent escapement, two-arm compensation balance with gold poising and timing screws, blued steel flat balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 56 mm.
