"Marine Lever Chronometer" Ulysse Nardin, Locle-Suisse, "Chronometre", No. 128381. Made circa 1950. Fine, small, mahogany two-day marine lever chronometer.
C. Three-tier mahogany brass-bound box with brass handles, the middle section with signature plaque, gimballed brass bowl. D. Matte silvered, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds, power reserve indication. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 48 mm., 21''', frosted gilt, 17 jewels, straightline lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. bowl diam. 88 mm., box 15 cm. square.
