?Two-Day Marine Chronometer? Ulysse Nardin, Locle, No. 5829. Made circa 1930. Fine, mahogany, two-day marine chronometer with power reserve indication and ratchet key.
C. Three-tier, with brass handles, brass-bound corners, the glazed middle section with hinged lid. Brass bowl and gimbaled suspension. D. Silvered with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds and power reserve indication. Black painted "spade" hands. M. Cal. 83 mm, gilt brass, full plate with baluster pillars secured by screws, 14 jewels, fusée with chain and Harrison's maintaining power, Earnshaw's spring detent escapement, 2-arm bimetallic compensation balance with cylindrical weights and 2 meantime adjusting nuts, freesprung polished steel helical balance spring with terminal curves, diamond endstone. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. Bowl 112 mm., box 19 cm. square.
