Ulysse Nardin, Locle, Chronomètre, No.127523, case No. 711808, from a series of 402 pieces. Tested by the Federazione Italiana Cronometristi and completed circa 1956. Fine and large stainless steel, keyless pocket chronometer with split-seconds chronograph and instantaneous 30-minute recorder. Accompanied by the original Ulysse Nardin leather-covered fitted field case and strap.
C. Three-piece, massive, ?bassine et filets?, polished with screwed back. Detachable stainless steel cuvette. D. White enamel with dauphine numerals, outer minute track with Arabic five minute/second numerals, extreme outer chronograph ring divided into fifths and tenths of a second, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register. Black steel Breguet hands. M. 22''', rhodium plated, ?fausses côtes? decoration, 26 jewels, fast beating straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring with micrometrer index regulator, split-seconds chronograph with visible work, button on the winding crown and push piece in the band. Signed on the dial, case and movement. Diam. 65 mm.
