THEURER ? BAGNOLET CALIBER ULTRA THIN WATCH Edward Robert Theurer, Chaux-de-Fonds, No. 7189. Made circa 1840. Very fine and rare, 18K gold extra-flat watch with bagnolet caliber and visible movement. Accompanied by an 18K gold chain and brass male key.

C. Three-body, ?bassine pincée?, engine-turned back cover with female aperture for winding. D. White enamel annular ring with radial Roman numerals and outer minute track. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 40 mm, single gilt brass foliate engraved plate, 8 jewels, bar caliber with foliate engraved bridges, plate and barrel, cylinder escapement, three-arm brass balance with flat balance-spring, index regulator. Movement signed, case numbered. DIAM. 44.5 mm, THICKNESS (with glass) 5 mm.
