DETENT ESCAPEMENT CHRONOMETER WORKING MODEL BRASS AND WOODS S. Thomas, Thomaston, CT, USA. Made in the 20th century. Fine, working model of a chronometer detent escapement with a wooden base and glass shade.

M. Circular gilt plated base plate with thick engraved decoration, going barrel housed in the base, monometallic balance wheel with gilt adjustment screws, steel balance spring, engraved bridges secured by screws. Dim. 17 x 23cm. In very good condition
