ROLEX REF 6917 DIAMOND BEZEL AND INDEX YELLOW GOLD Rolex, "Oyster Perpetual, Datejust, Superlative Chronometer Officially Certified", case No. 3493015, Ref. 6917. Made circa 1973. Very fine and rare, center seconds, self-winding, water-resistant, 18K yellow gold and after-market diamond bezel wristwatch with an 18K yellow gold Rolex President bracelet with concealed deployant clasp. Accompanied by an invoice for polishing by Bucherer.

Three-body, polished and brushed, bezel set with diamonds, screw-down case back and crown, crystal with cyclops lens. Blue with applied diamond indexes, aperture for the date. Yellow gold baton hands. Cal. 2130, rhodium-plated, oeil-de-perdrix decoration, 29 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, hack mechanism.
