Notes

The Rolex Empire is an unusual reference to start off with. Featuring a large domed caseback to accommodate the self-winding movement as well as a coin edge band, this particular example is particularely attractive from its condition perspective as it shows very little use with a deep and sharp hallmark on the band as well as a beautifully preserved pink dial that matches the case perfectly. When last sold at auction in 2012, it brought a spectacular price of CHF 52'500 reflecting its desirability and rarity.
