According to the valuation letter from Watches of Switzerland dated December 23, 1998, this Rolex Day-Date wristwatch, made in circa 1990s with an 18-carat yellow gold case, bark finish bezel, birch walnut dial, and gold batons, was valued at £11,200 for insurance purposes.

After 27 years, the watch remains in very good condition; the birch walnut dial is flawless with all prints perfectly intact, and the hallmarks on the back of the lugs are still deep and sharply defined—an extraordinary testament to its meticulous care and preservation over the decades.
