Notes

This Oyster Perpetual is called "tropical" because of its special 9K gold case and its stainless steel back. It is practically certain that this particular model was made with reference 3696 only. A similar watch is published in Collezionare Orologi da Poise Rolex, Edition 1998, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, Guido Mondani Editore, Genova, p. 124.
