Notes

A similar watch is published in Collezionare Orologi do Polso Rolex, Edition 1998, by Osvaldo Patrizzi, Guido MVlondani Editore, Genova, p. 27. It is interesting to note that in a Rolex advertisement of November 20, 1929, the price of a platinum Prince was quoted as £ 65.0.0., which is over 3 times the price of the gold model and over 7 times that of the steel version.
