Rolex Oyster Perpetual "Submariner" with white dial, Ref. 6536/1. Second version, produced in 1955. Fine, and extremely rare center-seconds, self-winding, stainless steel, water-resistant, gentleman's wristwatch, with black bezel.

C. three-body, polished and brushed, screwed-down case back and crown, graduated revolving bezel in Arabic numerals for the decompression times. D. white with radium-coated bâton, triangular and dot indexes. "Skeleton" radium-coated hands. M. Cal. 1030, rhodium-plated, 25 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions, shock-absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 38 mm. Approx. overall length 195 mm.

This watch is the second version of the "Submariner" watch without any indication of the watertightness and did not yet bear the crown-guard case. The first version was launched in 1953 and did not bear either the crown-guard case, did not indicate the waterproof deepth and did not bear the Mercedes hands.
