Accompanied by the original warranty card (now void), booklets, a wooden Sommozzatori wall plaque, 4 badges, a book on the history of the Sommmozzatori and a cap.

D. Black with luminous white gold round, triangular and baton indexes, Sommozzatori logo at 9, outer minute/ seconds division, aperture for the date. Luminous white gold skeleton hands. M. Cal. 3135, rhodium-plated, 27 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance adjusted to temperatures and 5 positions with Microstella timing screws, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, hack mechanism. Notes

The Italian State Police with its diving unit pursues several activities: judicial police, crime prevention, anti-sabotage, archeological artifact protection, supervision of the territory and emergency intervention, sporting events assistance and many others. The scenery of operations is of course water. The unit was founded June 10th 1958 and courses, today as in the beginning, are held at the Varignano (La Spezia) at the Navy raiders center (COM SUB IN). The headquarters from1958 to 1966 was in Livorno later to be moved to La Spezia at Punta di Pezzino Basso. In July 2008 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the unit, the CNES decided to make a watch dedicated to, but self fi nanced by the agents. Only 78 were ordered to Rolex Geneva with both dial and case back dedicated with the logo of the unit. This model of Rolex Ref. 16600 is one of rarest modern Sea-Dweller ever produced and makes it one of the most sought after by Rolex collectors.
