PATEK PHILIPPE REF. 530 YELLOW GOLD, FROM THE FAMILY OF THE ORIGINAL OWNER Patek Philippe & Co, Genève, No. 862617, case No. 507447, Ref. 530. Made in 1941. Very fine and rare, large, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with square button chronograph, register and tachometer. Accompanied by an extract from archive and a Patek Philippe service tag.

C. Three-body, solid, polished and brushed, concave bezel and lugs. D. Matte silver with applied yellow gold bâton indexes and Arabic numerals at 12 and 6, subsidiary seconds and 30-minute register dials, outer tachometer graduation, concentric, 1/5th second scale and Arabic fi ve second numerals. Yellow gold feuille hands. M. 13''', stamped with the seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, fausses côtes decoration, 23 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with 8 adjustments, self-compensating blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Case also punched ?GC Geneve? inside the back. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 11.5 mm.

Notes

Consigned by the family of the original owner, this watch has never been offered before at auction. It has been serviced and overhauled by Patek Philippe retaining the service sticker and tag. The watch with consecutive ascending number (862618 / 507448) was sold by Antiquorum, Geneva, October 15th, 2006, lot 412.
Ref. 530 Production of this reference began in 1938 and lasted approximately 15 years. Due to the size of the watch, which was not fashionable at the time, production was limited to only a few examples, in yellow gold, pink gold, and stainless steel. Produced in a very few examples, this model of vintage chronograph is among the most admired and sought-after by collectors
