PATEK PHILIPPE REF. 5004 PLATINUM Patek Philippe, Genève, movement No. 3275169, case No. 4448716, Ref. 5004P. Made in 2008, sold on November 5, 2008. Very rare and important, water-resistant, platinum wristwatch with split-seconds chronograph, registers, perpetual calendar, moon phases, leap year, 24 hour indication and a platinum Patek Philippe deployant clasp. Accompanied by a fitted wooden box, Certificate of Origin and instructions with a large leather folder, additional solid platinum case back and setting pin.

Three-body, solid, polished, transparent screwed-down case back, case band with 4 correctors, co-axial pushbutton in the crown for the split-seconds function, concave bezel, fl uted lugs, sapphire crystals. D. Silvered with applied white gold Arabic numerals, subsidiary dials for the 30-minute register and leap year at 3, the days of the month at 6, the seconds and the 24 hours at 9, apertures for the days of the week, the months and the moon phases, outer 1/5th seconds track. White gold feuille hands. M. Cal. CHR 27-70Q, stamped with the Seal of Geneva quality mark, rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 28 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, free-sprung Glucydur Gyromax balance, shock absorber, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 36 mm. Thickness 14.5 mm.

The 5004 reference ceased production in 2011 with the fi nal 50 examples released, by invitation only, exclusively in stainless steel. This reference was the last chronograph manufactured by Patek Philippe to be based on the famed and highly popular Lemania caliber movement.
