Ref. 3700/1, So-Called "Jumbo" Patek Philippe, Genève, "Nautilus", No. 1306714, case No. 538528, Ref. 3700/1. Made in 1978, sold on November 27th, 1979. Very fine and rare, large, "carré galbé", self-winding, waterresistant, stainless steel gentleman's wristwatch with date and a stainless steel Patek Philippe bracelet with deployant clasp. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Two-body, polished and brushed, sapphire crystal. D. Anthracite with horizontal stripes, applied luminous steel baton indexes, outer dot minute divisions, aperture for the date. Luminous steel "baton" hands. M. Cal. 28-255 C, stamped with the Seal of Geneva Quality Mark, rhodium-plated, ?fausses côtes? decoration, 36 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, Gyromax balance adjusted to heat, cold, isochronism and 5 positions, shock absorber, self-compensating free-sprung flat balance spring, 18K gold rotor segment. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 42 x 45 mm. Thickness 8 mm.
