So-called ?Hour-Glass? Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 970432, case No. 653006, Ref. 1593. Made circa 1948. Very fine and rare, rectangular "bombé", flared, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Two-body, solid, polished and brushed, concave sides, pillar shaped lugs, two-facet crystal. D. Brushed silver with applied yellow gold dart and dot indexes and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold "feuille" hands. M. Cal. 9'''-90, tonneau, rhodium plated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balancespring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 42 x 25 mm. Thickness 11 mm.
