So-called ?Hour-Glass? Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 976594, case No. 690394, Ref. 1593. Sold on December 13, 1956. Very fine and rare, rectangular "bombé", flared, 18K yellow gold gentleman's wristwatch. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, concave sides, pillar shaped lugs, two-facet crystal. D. Brushed silver with applied yellow gold dart and dot indexes and Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds. Yellow gold "feuille" hands. M. Cal. 9'''-90, tonneau, rhodiumplated, "fausses-côtes" decoration, 18 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance-spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 42 x 25 mm. Thickness 11 mm.
