Dial, case and movement signed. DIAM. 36 mm. THICKNESS 10 mm. REF. 2597 - As world travel became more prevalent in the 1950's, watchmakers saw the need to design a watch for travelers which they can adjust to the local time with ease. The production of this reference started in 1958: Produced in two series, the First Series as seen here, with an independently adjustable jumping hour hand with two buttons on the side which move the hour hand forwards and backwards by one hour without engaging the minute hand; and the Second Series with a secondary adjustable jumping hour hand in blued steel showing the home time and local time simultaneously.
