Patek Philippe & Cie, Geneve, No. 25307, made in 1864, sold on 15 July 1865. Very fine and rare 18K gold early keyless watch with dead independent second train.
C. Three piece, massive, with rounded milled bezels, the back engraved with the monogram "M.C.C.". M. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer minute and second ring (almost invisible hair cracks). Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Glazed, 20 " ', nickel plated, double gold wheel train, "fausses cotes" decoration, the two barrels wound simultaneously, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. The independent train with flirt on the escape wheel pinion, the barrel without stop-work and early form of sliding pinion, the bolt in the band. Signed on the movement.
