Notes

Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives. To our knowledge, this is the only Patek Philippe & Cie.'renversé' movement which has ever appeared at auction.Caliber so-called 'Bagnolet' or 'renversé'.This is a special caliber for extra-flat watches. The movement is reversed and the dial fitted on the side with the bridges and wheels, the latter revolving in the opposite direction. The barrel-arbor and the time-setting arbor are pierced to allow for the square male key.
