PATEK PHILIPPE SPLIT SECONDS CHRONOGRAPH YELLOW GOLD Patek, Philippe & Cie., Genève, No. 111914. Made for A. & C. Feldenheimer, Portland Ore. in 1901. Very fine and extremely rare 18K yellow gold, keyless pocket watch with split-seconds chronograph. Accompanied by a service box.
Four-body, "bassine", polished, gold hinged cuvette with inscription, case back with engraved initials. White enamel with painted Breguet numerals, outer 1/5th seconds track with 5-second red Arabic markers, subsidiary seconds dial. Gold Louis XV hands Cal. 18''', fausses côtes decoration, 28 jewels, straight line calibrated lever escapement, cut-bimetallic compensation balance with Breguet balance spring, chronograph and split-seconds mechanisms on the back plate..
