Patek Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 65456, case No. 65456, sold on the 6.10.1883. Extremely rare large silver cased quarter repeating 8 day going watch with alarm. Massive four body "filet grande gouge", polished case with gold hinges, slides and push pieces. Silver cuvette.

White enamel dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "Spade" hands. 26"' nickel movement, "fausses-côtes" decoration, double train, twin barrel with differential winding, 43 jewels, equilibrated straight line escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance-spring. Repeating on gongs by means of a slide on the band. Alarm setting by means of a push piece. In very good condition. Diam. 72 mm.
