Patek, Philippe & Cie, Genève, No. 143790, case No. 143790, "made to special order", circa 1906. Unusual silver cased Art Nouveau watch.
Massive "bassine pincée" case, chased overall with iris and further floral decoration signed: "Frainier", the inscription: " No. 143790 made to special order by Patek Philippe & Cie, Geneva" is engraved inside the back. Gilt silver engineturned dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "cathédrales" hands. 17' gilt brass movement, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. In very good condition. Diam.: 48 mm.
