Pink Gold Gondolo Chronograph Patek Philippe & Cie., Genève, ?Chronometro Gondolo?, No. 125052, case No. 238884. Made for Gondolo & Labouriau, Relojoeiros, Rio de Janeiro, in 1905, sold on December 12, 1905. Very fine and rare, large 18K pink gold keyless pocket watch with chronograph. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Four-body, solid, ?demi-bassine?, polished band and borders, engine-turned back, bolt at 1 o?clock to lock the chronograph. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and fifths of a second divisions, Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold spade hands. M. 20''', frosted gilt, gold wheel train, 23 jewels, wolf?stooth winding, straight-line ?moustache? lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with gold temperature screws, Breguet balance spring with outer terminal curve, Patek Philippe micrometric cam regulator patented on January 13, 1891, chronograph work set on the back, activated by a push-piece in the crown. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 57 mm.
