?Gunmetal Chronograph, 24-Hour Dial? Patek, Philippe & Cie., Genève, No.97562, case No. 219822. Made in 1895. Very fine and rare, gunmetal, keyless pocket watch with chronograph and unusual 24-hour dial. Accompanied by the Extract from the Archives.
C. Four-body, "bassine", polished, gold crown, bow and locking bolt for the chronograph. Hinged gun metal cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals intersected by red painted 24-hour numerals within gold painted rectangles, outer minute track and concentric fifths of a second divisions, subsidiary seconds. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 42 mm., 19''', rhodium plated, ?fausses-cotes? decoration, 21 jewels, wolf?s tooth winding, straight line ?moustache? lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring, Wilmot's patented micrometric cam regulator. Dial, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 53 mm.
