OMEGA REF. 176.007 SEAMASTER AUTOMATIC CHRONOGRAPH STEEL Omega, "Seamaster Automatic chronograph," No. 31644664, Ref. 176.007. Made in the 1970s. Fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph, 12-hour and 60-minute registers, date, 24-hour indication, tachometer and a stainless steel Omega bracelet with deployant clasp.
Two-body, polished and brushed, brushed inclined bezel, screwed-down case back with Seamaster logo, heselite crystal. Midnight blue with luminous square indexes, inner Arabic 5 minute markers, outer 1/5th seconds divisions, subsidiary dials for the constant seconds and 12-hour registers, 24-hours with day/ night indication by arrow on a revolving disc, central 60-minute register with orange-tipped "jet" hand, aperture for the date, outer tachometer graduation to 500 uph. Luminous white "baton" hands. Cal. 1040, copper-colored, 22 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, self-compensating flat balance spring, micrometric index regulator.
