In tribute to the legendary 'Speedmaster Professional' celebrating its 40th anniversary in 1997, and Omega its150th anniversary, the House is offering an exceptional collection of 23 Speedmaster watches presented in avalise covered with genuine spacesuit cloth.The valise contains a special series of 22 Speedmaster watches, each with a different official NASA mission patchon its dial at 9 o'clock: from the August 1965 Gemini V to the November 1973 Skylab SL-4.The collection also includes a replica of the original 1957 Speedmaster with mattte black dial, applied OMEGAlogo, luminous hands, arrow-tipped hour hand and satin-finished steel bezel with tachometric scale.The spacesuit cloth covering the valise, will take on its own color with time.The Omega Speedmaster valise was produced in a numbered limited series of 50: 40 examples for commercialsale, plus 5 'Out-of-business' of which is this one, and 5 'Artist's proof' examples.
