Notes

This watch marked a milestone for Omega as this was the fi rst generation of chronograph wristwatches ever made. It used the famed caliber 18?? that will be used continuously from 1906 until 1928. For similar examples see Omega, A Journey through time by Marco Richon, p. 525. It is also extremely similar to the Omega of Lawrence of Arabia sold by Antiquorum in November 2000 for a record amount at the time: Sfr 86,000.
