Notes

Ref. DL 345.0803 was launched in 1982. These watches were destined for the German speaking countries of central Europe, including Germany, Switzerland, Austria and Liechtenstein. Like many of the ?Teutonic Speedys?, the case of this watch closely resembles that of the Mark V, however that moniker should be reserved for watches with the Caliber 1045 that are marked ?Mark V? on the dial. The present watch is also interesting in that it has a case-back signed ?Seamaster?. This is due to the fact that ?Speedmasters? are a sub-line of the ?Seamaster? family. Many of the watches made for the Germanic market have backs signed ?Seamaster?. Most, like the present lot, have the caliber number engraved on the case back.
