This watch is in new condition and is from the pre-series of the new Italian Navy Panerai wristwatches.The first four watches were given to the following engineers who participated in the construction of the watch. No 01 - Engineer Zei No 03 - Engineer Zavattaro No 02 - Engineer Latini No 04 - Deputy Chief PrincipalThe last deliveries of Panerai watches to foreign military forces were made in the 1950's. Several Army Forces were clients, including the German secret services "Kampf Schwimmer". Subsequently, the Florentine manufacture continued its production of precision instruments, producing exclusively for the Italian Navy.
