"Luminor GMT, Ref. 6554" Officine Panerai, Firenze 1860, "Luminor GMT -Ocean Chronometer," No. E 2784/3000, Ref. OP 6554. Made in a limited edition of 3000 examples in 2002. Fine, large, cushion-shaped, two-time zone, self-winding, water-resistant, stainless steel diver's chronometer wristwatch with date, special 24-hour hand for the second time zone (GMT) and a stainless steel Panerai buckle.

C. Three-body, polished, screwed-down case back, winding crown with patented security lever to wind the watch even underwater, sapphire crystal with "cyclops" lens. D. Black with luminous Arabic numerals and indexes, outer 24-hour graduation for the second time zone, subsidiary seconds dial, aperture for the date. Luminous steel "skeleton" hands. M. Cal. base ETA 2893-2, officially certified chronometer (COSC), rhodiumplated, "oeil-de-perdrix" and special Panerai decoration, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock-absorber, self-compensating flat balance-spring, micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 44 x 44 mm. Thickness 16 mm.
