Notes

Dedicated To England's Greatest Ruler
Montblanc created this pen in 2010 in honour of Elizabeth I (1533-1603), Queen of England and Ireland (1558-1603), perhaps the most influential of English monarchs – Elizabeth I is remembered not only for her foreign policy successes, which escalated England to world-historical pre-eminence, but for her love of culture and the arts. Famous masters such as William Shakespeare and composer John Dowland, contributed the nation's cultural history during Elizabeth's monarchy. Her more than 40-year reign became commonly known as 'The Elizabethan Age', which is a significant period in the Britain's history. This lot belongs to the twentieth of Montblanc’s “Patron of Art Edition”.
