Tiffany & Co., New York, No. 7540. Made in the early 1900s. Very fine, keyless, 18K yellow gold dress watch with split-seconds chronograph.
C. Four-body, "demi-bassine,? solid, polished, case back with a crest, gold hinged cuvette, rectangular pusher on the band for the split-seconds function. D. White enamel with painted radial Arabic numerals, outer minute and 1/5th seconds divisions with red Arabic 5-minute/seconds markers, subsidiary sunk seconds dial. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. Cal. 18''', nickel, ?fausses côtes? decoration, 19 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, ?swanneck? micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 48 mm.
