Unsigned, French, circa 1890. Fine and rare eight day going, "grande and petite sonnerie " , quarter repeating "Mignonette " carriage clock.

C. Gilt brass, "Anglaise riche" with fluted columns glazed four sides and top. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals. Blued steel hands. Frosted and gilt dial plate. M. Brass rectangular with going barrels both on the going and the striking train, platform with lateral lever escapement, bimetallic balance, blued steel flat balance spring and regulator. Striking, repeating on gongs with button on the top and "grande and petite sonnerie/ silence" optional lever in the base. In very good condition. Dim. 8 x 5,5 x 5 cm, excluding the handle.
