Melik Miniassianz, Paris, No. 12514, made for Georges Aron, Nice, circa 1930. Very fine and rare 18K gold, jade and ivory, semimysterious, eight day going Art-Deco table clock in original fitted box.
C. Circular with engine-turned band, bevelled polished border and three ivory feet inlaid with gold engine-turned strips. D. Horizontal, jade engraved with a bird and foliage decoration, the border applied with gold indexes, inner revolving minute ring and hour disc, each bearing seed-pearl pointers. M. 24"', rhodium plated by Geneva Clock Co., rhodium plated, "fausses cotes" decoration, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Movement signed, Melik Miniassianz Master marks on the case. Fitted box signed Aron. In very good condition. Diam. 75 mm.
