Double body, the hinged lid chased in five colour gold with flowers and foliage and centred with a very fine oval framed enamel panel, painted with a scene featuring the Pythia reading the oracles on a celestial globe, engine-turned shaped side panels with neurons chased on the corners, the border of the engine-turned back with chased decoration matching that of the lid. In very good condition. Dim. 85 x 56 mm.
