Attributable to Barbezat Baillot, Locle, Swiss, circa 1890. Fine 18K gold, hunting cased keyless minute repeating watch with chronograph.
C. Four body, "bassine et filets", engine-turned, the back engraved with a monogram in an escutcheon and inside with the date: June 22, 1897. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned border and engraved with technical details. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer minute and chronograph rings and sunk subsidiary seconds. Gold "Louis XV " hands. M. 21"', nickel plated, 23 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work, push piece in the band. Dian. 58 mm.
