Tiffany & Co., Swiss, No. 78279, circa 1900. Fine and rare 18K gold, keyless minute repeating watch with split second chronograph and 60-minute instantaneous recorder.

C. Four body, massive, "demi-bassine " , polished. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with a dedication dated 1903. D. White enamel with Breguet numerals, red outer Arabic minute and chronograph ring, sunk subsidiary seconds and minute register. Blued steel "spade" hands. M. 16"', three-quarter plate, nickel plated, 36 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Minute repeating on gongs with slide in the band. Chronograph with visible work, button on the winding crown and split second push piece in the band. Signed on the dial, case and movement. Diam. 52 mm.
