D. sapphire showing four black ring dials: above for the months, on the left for the clays of the week, on the right for the days of the month, below, the lunar calendar and the phases of the moon. "Baton" white hands. M. 13"', hand engraved 21K gold, 18 jewels, lever escapement, monometallic balance, antishock system, self-compensating flat balancespring. Dial and movement signed. Dim. 35 mm.

Daniel Aubert, Le Brassus, Swiss. It is one thing to design a watch, but another to build it. Daniel Aubert does everything at once: he decorates, he cuts and he carves; he files and polishes the gold and the watchmaker's alloys unceasingly. He gives each of his watches the splendour of a unique work of art. The quality of his workmanship reaches its climax here through dainty arabesque carvings and inlays of red, white, yellow and blue gold. These small marvels, clad in gold, incomparably charming and tr ansparent, are his inspirations incorporated between two walls of sapphire.
