Cooke & Kelbey, London, Calcutta No. 12519, made for the Indian Market, with London hallmarks for 1869. Very fine 18K gold, hunting cased, keyless quarter repeating Grande and Petite Sonnerie clock-watch.

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets" by Alfred Stram (Master mark), fully engraved with flowers and interlaced decoration. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Gold engine-turned with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds, the centre engraved with flowers over a matted ground. Blued steel "fleurs-de-lys" hands. M. 19"' , gilt brass double train with differential winding, gold wheel trains, 39 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, balance spring with terminal curve. Striking and repeating on gongs with slide in the band, Strike/Silent and Grande/Petite sonnerie levers in the bezel. Signed on the back plate. Diam.53 mm.
