Double body, Louis XVI, the split-pearl set bezel with foliage engraved decoration, the back enamel panel finely painted with an allegorical scene depicting Cupid putting a crown of flowers on the altar of Love, outer floral paillonne decoration over a blue ground and engraved foliage decoration. D. White enamel with Roman numerals and outer Arabic minute ring. Gold "poker and beetle" hands. M. Hinged gilt brass full plate with conical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass threearm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with garnet end-stone, repeating on a bell by depressing the pendant. Signed on the dial and back plate. Diam. 46 mm.
