Thomas Russell and Son, makers to the Queen Victoria, 12 Church Street, Liverpool, with Chester hallmarks for 1906. Fine silver 30 hour going, centre seconds lever pocket chronometer with one minute tourbillon regulator.

C. Four body, massive, "pommes et filets " , made by Thomas Russel (Master Marks), polished with reeled band, the back engraved with a blank escutcheon. Hinged silver cuvette. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer minutes and seconds ring and sunk Up-and-Down scale. Gold "spade " hands. M. 21"', frosted and gilt, three-quarter plate, 15 jewels in gold screwed setting, fusee with chain and maintaining power, English lateral lever escapement with pointed tooth escape wheel, cut bimetallic balance with gold poising and timing screws, free sprung blued steel balance spring with terminal curve. One minute tourbillon regulator by Nicole Nielsen & Co. with polished steel carriage typical of Nielsen 's second type, that can be stopped at will by means of a bolt in the band. Signed on the dial and movement. Diam. 60 mm.
