Jules Jiirgensen, Copenhagen, Swiss, No. 10677, made in 1866. Very fine and rare 18K gold hunting cased, keyless watch with dead independent centre seconds and 1 /5 second "diablotine".

C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", engineturned with reeded band. Hinged gold cuvette with engine-turned band. D. White enamel with Roman numerals, outer Arabic minute and seconds rings, sunk subsidiary 1/5 second "foudroyante " . Blued steel Breguet hands. M. 19 "' , nickel plated, double train with differential winding, ebauche by Piguet, 21 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic balance, Breguet balance spring. Independent seconds train with flirt on the escape wheel pinion and bolt in the band. Signed on the dial, cuvette and movement. Accompanied by photocopy of the original workshop log. Diam. 52 mm.
